Furnace and Duct Cleaning

Process - Kleen Aire Standard Cleaning

  1. Walkthrough with customer to confirm and address any concerns and to establish cost of cleaning. Determine best practice for hook up and access to furnace and ductwork.
  2. Furnace is shut down and blower assembly is removed, (if neccesary) and access holes are cut on hot and cold air plenums.
  3. 10" vacuum hose from truck is hooked up to hot or cold plenum and the then truck is engaged to create extreme suction of 13,500 CFM.
  4. When system under suction all vents except farthest on supply line are covered isolating the suction, then compressed air is blown down each vent line to agitate any thing in line. As this is done all debris is drawn through main and hose out to the truck. This process is duplicated for every vent on each plenum.
  5. After the trunk lines have all been cleaned using compressed air, a reverse skipper is used to clean the plenum and bring all debris back to the suction hose.
  6. This process is repeated on opposite side of system.
  7. Now that the system is clean the furnace, furnace chimney and all combustion components are cleaned. The heat exchanger is inspected for cracks the fan assembly is cleaned and oiled.
  8. Fan assembly is replaced and all access holes are secured and plugged. The system will now be tested. Any other requested services will be performed at this time.

Process - Kleen Aire Advantage Cleaning (Upgrade)

Our technician will use the same procedure as above, except that all vent lines, are scrubbed entirely with our patented rotary brush system. With your heating system still under suction, our technician will brush the inside of the ductwork. This includes the sides, tops, and bottoms of your furnace ducts from the register all the way to the main lines, removing the caked on dirt and dust. This procedure is then duplicated on the both the hot and cold mainlines.

Ceiling and Wall Cleaning

With our patented Versa Tile System we can clean all types of walls and ceilings faster, and better, at less cost in either residential or commercial applications. Washable walls and ceilings represent the largest cleanable space in most buildings. Conventional cleaning methods are too costly and time consuming. Our Versa Tile System is the answer! Ideal for acoustical tile

Nearly every existing and new commercial building contains acoustical ceiling tile which needs to be cleaned to improve Indoor Air Quality and appearance. Painting isn't practical, because it's more expensive and destroys the acoustical value of the tile. Replacement is simply too costly. Our Versa Tile System is the answer, it offers thorough and fast one-pass deep cleaning of acoustical tile. It easily cleans smoke, grease, oil, dust and pollutants in one application. And our exclusive, environmentally safe detergent formulation gives you superior cleaning results-for all types of porous and nonporous ceiling tile. This will save money on painting or replacing ceiling tiles.

Enzyme Based - No Bleach or Harsh Chemicals

We use an enzyme based cleaning solution that does not contain bleach or strong oxidizers, yet deep cleans to a sparkling shine. It contains emulsifiers and surfactants that break down the dirt and accumulation and removes even the toughest stains.

Eliminate Bacteria, Nicotine, Mildew

Our advanced cleaning solution for walls and ceilings removes bacteria, mold, nicotine and other harmful elements from your home without requiring you to move your furniture and leaves your home clean.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Dryer Vent Cleaning should be performed every six months to three years depending on many factors such as usage, dryer efficiency, length of duct, number of turns in duct, length of any vertical duct.

Before

After

Dryer vents become clogged with lint because lint particles bypass the lint filter entering the duct with warm moist air which clings to the walls of the duct. The longer the duct, vertical duct, and turns increase this buildup. This buildup restricts airflow through the duct which increases back pressure on the dryer fan causing the dryer to overheat.

Most homeowners do not think about dryer vent cleaning until their dryer stops working or overheats and causes a fire. In some cases new dryers have been purchased with the homeowner thinking the old one was wore out. Then they were surprised only to find that the new dryer didn't work any better because the dryer vent was clogged with lint.

Dryer Vent Cleaning is an inexpensive way to help keep your family safe and your dryer working properly.

Chimney Cleaning

  1. We start by taking the necessary precautions, by putting down a tarp in front of the fireplace or wood stove and using a high powered-vacuum to prevent any mess.
  2. We sweep the chimney with a rotary brush system and/or manual brushes using agitating motion to remove the creosote from the chimney liner. As the creosote is dropping from the chimney, our truck mounted vacuum safely sucks all debris out of the house.
  3. We clean the smoke chamber and shelf with air tools and truck mounted vacuum.
  4. We clean the firebox with hand brush, air tools and truck mounted vacuum.

Miscellaneous Services

No job is too big, or too small. We have the equipment and the manpower to tackle any job. More information and quotes for these services available on request.

Insulation Removal

With our custom built truck, our technician heads into the attic with our 10" suction hose and proceeds to vacuum all of the old blown in insulation or wood chips out to the truck. Our truck is equipped with an exclusive bypass especially for these applications. This feature allows us to use a separate bin on site, to catch all the debris drawn from the attic and blown into the bin. This allows for no mess, easy cleaning, and cost -effective time saving insulation removal.

Sawmill Clean-up - Sawdust removal

Sawdust is no match for our truck. With 200' of 10" hose, dual hookups, 13,500 CFM of vacuum, we make short work of it. We have the ability to reach almost any site and with our exclusive bypass feature, cleanup is quite simple.

Hantavirus Clean-up

Hantavirus is a virus that causes Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS), a form of adult respiratory disease syndrome. HPS was first reported in the United States in the spring of 1993. The deer mouse (Peromyscus maniculatus) is the main carrier of hantavirus however, all wild rodents should be avoided. The deer mouse can carry and shed the virus without showing any signs of being sick.

Deer mice shed the virus in their urine, saliva, and droppings. A person may be exposed to hantavirus by breathing dust after cleaning rodent droppings or disturbing nests, or by living or working in rodent-infested settings.

Care must be taken to use the correct equipment and safety precautions when in potential contact with this virus. We use a special vacuum system (hepa vac) and can clean any area where there is a concern for the virus. After cleaning we can even disinfect the entire area using a bleach solution should you desire.

Crawl Space Clean-up

The wonderful world of crawlspaces whether it be new construction, old dust, or just plain filth, we can clean any and all - as long as it has a concrete foundation and we have access to get at it.
